On my environment:

Nexus6P API27 reproduce this
Nexus5 API22 not reproduce this🤔

I think it is related transition animation. Can we exclude it? 🤔

I think its related to transition animation 🤔 If I set Don't Keep Activities, and then re-open the Activity, then it will appear (so it only disappears when transitioning).

I'll take a look at this one tonight! 🙋

Because I was too sad to loose this transitioning animation, I made an ugly patch.
