GPS 3D fix is reported but HDOP is still too high #1861

This can be confusing. Tower reports a 3D fix - which is generally a good sign - but HDOP can still be way off. Not sure if both can be combined easily but might avoid some confusion...

It's how the GPS reports its status. This is not something we calculate in Tower
