[Bug Report] App settings doesn't follow interface language selected

Bug description

The app language setting doesn't work, doesn't matter which language I select it's stuck in english.

Steps to reproduce the bug

1.Open settings 2.Change interface language 3.Language still is english

Expected behavior

The interface language should change to the language selected

I'm using a Xiaomi in MIUI 12.0.5

Ok this must be because I changed from using lang like "en" to "en-US so that the time knows to display as US format not UK if en was selected so I'll fix this later today.
