(Just bringing the conversation to here)

We've now got a plugin that allows you to get email updates of new posts. You can see the subscription form here. This is a little unpolished, but works OK. The only concern is that gmail recipients may need to create filters to prevent emails being sent to spam - I added a note for that. I also haven't tested this with massive loads etc ... and I don't plan to.

To make things compact, when you arrive at the page, "All Categories" is selected by default: cid:ii_15bcbc889bd79830 If you uncheck "All categories" then you get more options: cid:ii_15bcbca53c6ae494

You can also unsubscribe by entering your email and selecting "Unsubscribe me"

BEA, obviously the page will need some design work :-) If the L&F on plugin needs to change I'll need a bit of lead time.

We might also want to provide a few hand-crafted links to allow people to subscribe to RSS feeds.

The format of a category feed is "http://www.example.com/category/categoryname/feed" so we can get all working groups using https://dronecode.lfprojects.linuxfoundation.org/category/working-group/feed

These links might also be on the TSC and Working Group pages "Subscribe to RSS updates"

Something to think about.
