Hi,

After successfully downloaded a package, I can't run the installer:

Hi, can you add more information such as system version and package name?

This also happened to me yesterday. For my side, my specs were:

2013 iMac 21,5” MacOS Catalina i5-1235U processor 8Gb RAM

I tried installing a few installers but all of them had this error.

I was using the latest version available for CC downloaded yesterday from the official site (using alternate downloads section).

Hope this helps.

Some of the adobe apps do not support macOS Catalina, maybe you need to upgrade your system to install these apps.

I see. At the time of the post, I was installing Photoshop v23.5.5 on the mentioned iMac with this script, and the installer gave me the error above.

I then tried installing Photoshop through Creative Cloud to test if it was the program version, and it ended up installing Photoshop v23.5.5 correctly, but with trial prompt.

It seems to me the installer either needs a repair or a workaround.

That's strange, but I don't have Mac with macOS 10.15. Hope others who have can fix this issue. Maybe I could also try it in VM later.

Hey, any update on this please? I'm running into the same issue

Antibioticss commented 1 year ago

You are using MacOS Catalina, too?

judemoore360 commented 1 year ago

Yeah, 10.15

Antibioticss commented 1 year ago

It's probably still the system version problem. AFAIK, AE does not support 10.15 now. You need to update your system to install it.

judemoore360 commented 1 year ago

That’s what I thought too initially. I was trying illustrator so checked the system requirements on adobe’s website and it says Catalina 10.15 or later. I also received the same message upon trying an older version of illustrator.

Which version of ACC do you install?

Try install ACC 5.9, the latest ACC does not support this. You can find download links here: https://github.com/Drovosek01/adobe-packager/issues/56#issuecomment-1546789725

Or if you want to keep your latest ACC, you can also install AntiCC 1.7. It will replace some files required by the installer. Download it here: https://www.mediafire.com/file/q01nd5grk6m7se8/AntiCC_1.7_%255BRiD%255D.dmg/file
