Can't increase episodes watched (login glitched) #308

Description

I think this has been going on for a day or less. When I try to select the episode number to mark what I just watched from my list, it never updates. I tried doing it several times and pulling down to refresh, and I confirmed on MAL that it wasn't changing.

This must not be a widespread issue to go unfixed this long. Just to clarify, I can't mark anything. When I watch an episode, I can no longer do the one thing I use MALClient for. I've been having to mark stuff in a web browser. Is there anything I should look into? Logs I can find or something?

Went into settings and used the "log in" button and can mark stuff again. I seemed to be in some sort of half-logged-in state where I could see my list and profile but not change anything. Kinda feels like a bug, so I'm gonna leave the issue open.

I'm having this issue as well, in build 1.5.6.2 on Android. It started a few days ago, I can update the episodes in the app (ie the number can be increased) but when the app is reopened/refreshed, it is back to how it was before. I tried out going to the login screen in the app (account auth) and it shows me a 'login' button but at the bottom it offers to log me out. I click to log out and the UI doesn't change. I click log in, log myself in, and still cannot update my episode count. Going back to the login/account auth page, it shows the same as before, offering me to log in when I already am. Also, not sure if related, but when I initially sign in, the watching page is empty of any of my shows until I refresh.
