Formerly the calculation of resources available to each functional type (res_avail) was based on total aboveground biomass. Due to the substantial non-living component of some plant functional types (e.g. sagebrush), living aboveground biomass will be used instead.
Implementation:
specify fraction of living biomass for each plant functional type in rgroup.in (live_biomass)
adjust sizes[g] based on live_biomass --> sizes_live[g] = RGroup_GetBiomass(g) * RGroup[g]->live_biomass; which will go on to determine the initial transpiration assigned to each functional type.
