Formerly the calculation of resources required by each functional type (res_required) was based on total aboveground biomass. Due to the substantial non-living component of some plant functional types (e.g. sagebrush), living aboveground biomass will be used instead.
Implementation:
specify fraction of living biomass for each plant functional type in rgroup.in (live_biomass)
adjust res_required at the functional type and individual plant level to reflect live_biomass
