Get copy working #4

Create a way to copy kernels and notes from one view to another.  In
Popcorn, we did this by allowing a user to shift-drag something into the
sandbox, which created a copy of it.  They could then navigate to another
view, and drag the object out of the sandbox onto the new view.  There may
other, better ways to implement this as well.
