4 years ago If anyone is interested, I spent much of last night getting a data pipeline set up for this new data on social distancing from Safegraph. I currently have the social distancing metrics aggregated at the FIPS/county level, but have not yet produced dynamic time-series data.
In case it helps: I was the original point of contact with Safegraph for Duke and may therefore be useful in answering questions— Matthew Harker and Joshua Smith (from SSRI) have been handling logistics and data access. If you are interested, you can also ask to join Safegraph’s Slack channel where these data are being discussed/analyzed (there are already many researchers in this space, FYI, from top teams around the country— I am not certain whether anyone is focusing on North Carolina, however, for the time being).
