(14) Texts on different welcome/consent form pages #205

@DukeCityDigital We managed to finish these early. I attach a word doc with the new texts. Thank you! welcome_consent_and_other.docx

Original text from slack: Then on Monday, we'd like to ask you one more thing, namely to change the texts on different welcome/consent form pages - we'll send you the new texts. Our response rates are still extremely low and we need to make the pages more welcoming. Would that work? Or would it be possible for us to change just the text on the pages on github?

@DukeCityDigital The welcome text looks good. Would it be possible to have the welcome text centered (as in the doc) with a larger font? Also, I saw that the consent form for both seeds and peers, and the invite friends page still have the old text. Those need to be replaced with text in the welcome_consent_and_other doc. Thanks!

@DukeCityDigital We are hoping to start pretests tomorrow to see who we can get from facebook etc. For that reason the welcome and consent are the most urgent.

Now both the welcome text above the consent form and the consent form is centered, please make only the welcome text centered with larger font. The consent form should be left justified. Also, we realized that we should shorten the welcome text so please use this instead:

Welcome! How do you balance the risks and rewards of getting vaccinated? How do you know what’s safe? What’s effective? Our social networks often influence our opinions about such questions.

Therefore, this study does not focus on individuals, but on groups of friends. We will ask you to invite two of your friends to the study. All of you will answer questions like those above, and get paid for your participation.

Understanding how we form our opinions is important for finding better ways to keep Americans safe. For this reason, your participation in this study is immensely important. In addition, you will be compensated via PayPal with up to $26 for your valuable time.
