currently played song is not displayed correct #33

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Setup MediaMonkey 4.0.2 along with MonkeyTunes
2. Connect to MM library using tunesremote
3. press next (either in MM or in tunesremote). --> Next song played correctly
but the current song view in tunesremote (upper middle bar) shows random song
name from library. It's just the name and the artist which are wrong, the
length indicator works correctly.

To make sure that the MediaMonkey side is setup properly, I've tried
tunesremote on my android phone, which works without problems. So it seems to
be a tunesremotese issue.

I will have to try this one with my MM setup. I had not noticed this before
but let me look.

I have the same problem I think. Symptoms the same.

W7 - Monkey Media 4.0.2.1462 - MonkeyTunes 1.6.4.1
MacPro - OSX 10.6.8 - Tunesremote

I also have an issue when I start up Tunesremote - it take a long time to load
the library (20,000 songs). Doesn't seem to be much faster if I use a LAN
connection rather than WiFi, and seems to vary each time I launch the
application. I tried reinstalling to see if changing the location where the
data is stored made any difference - but I can't get that dialogue up again?

Great piece of work btw - good to have an alternative to iTunes :-)

So far so good in MonkeyTunes. I was able to pair properly with the new
pairing window and I did Previous, Next, Play, Pause and everything seems to be
working OK!

hoobs.sj your slowness could be on the MonkeyTunes side gathering the 20,000
records data from MM to send to TunesRemoteSE.
