Report, Inventory, Stock Analysis, Stock Valuation Analysis by Item (Summary) sort makes no sense, which makes the report not very usable (CB ticket 174399) #14
See attached screen clip that shows the report designer has the report sorting by Item Name but grouping by Item Code. Grouping takes priority over sorting. The user never sees the Item Code, so grouping on Item Code makes no sense the the user. The resulting report seems to have a random sort (but it is actually sorted by an unseen code).
The report needs to be fixed to group on the item name so it makes sense to the user.
