A tainted dynamic tree variant could be really interesting, either as another way of spreading taint further or for aesthetic purposes. Assuming this was thought of before but too difficult to implement(?).
If converting existing trees isn't possible, or not worth the effort; maybe the base block of a dynamic tree could be broken if next to a tainted soil block, then replaced with a tainted seed in the same area/dropped from the killed tree? For spreading, tainted tree acorns could convert/place tainted soil as a root block, with limited spread around it.
