As a request:
IC2 Exp has a popular fork called IC2 Classic. Current addon for IC2 Exp can't be used with IC2 Classic as it has its own implementation for rubber tree (you also cant load both IC2 Exp and IC2 Classic at the same time). It's literally the same tree with same mechanics but just with different IDs and stuff. It shouldn't be really hard to make a separate version for the IC2 Classic fork.

There is another mod called Realworld mod which is the succesor of plant mega pack, and adds many trees, but, now is discontinued and i dont know if his creator, 10paktimbits keeps the archives because the website is no longer active.

We will not add trees to addons unless we can respect how they are in the original mod, or failing that how they are in reality. The Stygian End trees are too large to be made dynamic, it would ruin the whole look of the biome to have smaller trees.
Thanks i understand why you cant make stygian end compatible with dynamic trees; Can you make compatibility between giant mushrooms from vanilla minecraft and the ones at the twillight forest and a compatibility for defiled lands,thanks :)

Defiled lands is already on the list, and dynamic mushrooms has been suggested as an idea in DynamicTreesTeam/DynamicTrees-ExC#28. Please make sure you look at the list before making suggestions (you could use ctrl/cmd + f
to search for a mod).

Hello. Could you add compability to Aether: Lost Content mod https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/aether-lost-content ? It doesn't add any new trees but it adds a dungeon that has crystal trees outside it and those trees arent dynamic trees even if you have aether addon installed while the gold dungeon has dynamic trees outside it. https://puu.sh/GMFJg/ff37e71922.png
The Aether addon already has a certain compatibility with Lost Content. if its installed, you will be able to craft and plant crystal trees. Unfortunately i was unable to remove the crystal trees from the dungeon, as these are hardcoded into its generation.
I'm looking for Nature's Aura mod compatibility.for 1.12.2 When replaceVanillaSapling = true the Ritual of the Forest don't want to work. When I place either an oak acorn or a vanilla sapling, it turns into a DT sapling, which NA doesn't recognize as satisfying the ritual's need for an oak sapling.
I already have Dynamic Trees - Nature's Aura by HarleyOConnor installed, and that doesn't fix anything about the tree rituals.
From my digging in the code of both NA and DT, the NA check is trying to match the center block with instanceof BlockSapling or BlockLog. (Found in /naturesaura/blocks/multi/Multiblocks.java) I thought changing the extend of BlockDynamicSapling in DT to BlockSapling would work, but that build just crashes the client on loading. I've tried to add the DT saplings and branches to the ritual check, but that has no effect so far, but I could be doing it wrong. I'm not very savvy in writing Java, let alone MC mods.
I've also filed a report/request (#167) with Nature's Aura. I'll update here if I get a response over there.

"Need" is always a subjective term. ;-) I can get away without this function, it just won't look as pretty as I intend in the long run. Bonus points if I could assign specific ages of the tree before the ritual kicks off, depending on the recipe (but that wouldn't be your dept. anyways).
I can turn off the replaceVanillaSapling setting for now and wait patiently, and hopefully, for this detail to be added.

Hi there, this one is quite tricky, I believe: Is it somehow possible to make a compat for the mod Maple Syrup ? (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/maple-syrup) It's a tree tapping system with custom config options which tree gives which fluid, which is great for modpack developing. Has this Stardew Valley vibe about it which is really neat. Problem is the tree tap block from the mod must be placed against a log, which is not possible with dynamic trees.
However, in the Dynamic Trees PHC Addon it's possible to tap maple trees by clicking the trunk with an iron ingot. Would it be possible to apply this system to configurable trees with configurable fluid output and amount ? Thanks for any ideas and thank you for all your work!

Plant Mega Pack seems to unfortunately be discontinued as the official website for the mod is offline and the link you provided is from a third party site that often has outdated versions which may or may not even pose a threat to the safety of your computer, so I doubt Plant Mega Pack support will be done any time soon, if a all.
Which is kind of a shame though, I would certainly like to do something similar. It was very useful for decoration as well as breathe some new life into the world without neccessarily adding any new biomes.

Even if you are able to get the source code, it has to be under such a license that allows for modifying the code as long as certain criteria are met (e.g.: you can't make money out of the creation you use the modified code for, or you can only modify the code if you give credit somewhere to the original creator, etc.), which considering the mod is a Patreon mod the license most likely isn't going to be met (because if it was at that point anyone could hypothetically just take the source code, compile it themselves and give it out for free). I think you would have a much bigger luck asking the original devs for built-in Dynamic Trees support as even if you were able to get the source code the license wouldn't allow us to do anything with it.

This is mainly because we are busy working on the 1.16 port, once it’s done add-ons will be the main priority again.
Not sure where to ask this. Wondering if there's any way to make Dynamic Trees compatible with Mystcraft. Mystcraft doesn't add any new tree types, but it does involve world generation, and apparently uses its own generation system to do it instead of the normal world gen system, which results in Mystcraft dimensions always spawning vanilla trees instead. I was wondering if anyone knew a way to make the two work together.

@Cr4fTJuNkiE This thread is for 1.12. We will likely never make an add-on for BYG for 1.12 because it's extremely buggy and I believe unfinished.
However, for 1.16 it will almost definitely happen. In fact one of the developers of BYG has shown interest in making it himself.
Also, to re-iterate how the stars work:
The stars are a rough estimate of how likely it is for me (subjectively, anyone is free to pick any!) to choose that mod. It is based on how popular the mod is, how many trees it has, how unique these are and how interesting I find them. 0 stars just means i do not know enough about the mod, not that i do not like it.
