no Dynamo 0.7.1 toolbar in Vasari beta 3 #1910

Hi,

I have both Revit and Vasari beta 3 installed in my computer, after the dynamo installation process is done, the Dynamo toolbar is not shown (Add-ins) in Vasari but Revit. Does anyone have this problem? any idea?

I need a clarification. Is the Dynamo addin shown in Revit, but not in Vasari?

yes, and I can open dynamo properly in revit.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall vasari & dynamo, but still... dynamo 0.7.1 addin does not appear in vasari. Dynamo 0.6.3 works fine in my computer.

Can you look in C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Revit\Addins and send me the text of the Dynamo.addin file?

If it isn't there, can you you look in C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Revit\AddIns\2014 and see if there are any addins there. We are trying to asses whether your Vasari configuration is set to "Current User" or it is set to "All Users".

We've just verified that the RevitAddinUtility, which is used as part of our installer to ascertain the locations of installed Revit Products, is incorrectly reporting the addins path for Vasari Beta 3. A fix has been submitted in #1911 and will be available in the newest daily build after the change is merged.
