Host specific chapters #188

Remove any reference to Revit outside of the specific Revit chapter. Build a matching chapter for Dynamo for Civil, Dynamo for Alias, Dynamo for FormIt, Dynamo for Advanced Steel, Dynamo for XYZ

Needed as users can’t ‘learn’ Dynamo for __ without first installing and learning Revit at the moment.

@Amoursol I contacted Civil content team before about it, they prefer developers to write the more technical content since they do not have the Dynamo skill set to write such thing for users to read and learn. Is it something we can get help from some D4C power users like Paolo?

KevinDolley commented 4 years ago

Thanks Aaron (and Sol). We suggest stubbing out content and our team can rewrite and format. It doesn't have to be a masterpiece. I suppose I am the point of contact for the BID products. We had a proposal for coverage that I can send you both in the morning.

@QilongTang - We can definitely reach out to Paolo Serra about this and see if he has scope. If not, we can suggest that the Civil 3D team engage with a contractor to create such?

Amoursol commented 4 years ago

@KevinDolley There is already a format for the Revit section that can be utlized! Happy to help run through this with you to validate if it will work and/or look to create a better template format that all hosts can fit inside 😄

@Amoursol I have suggested to the Civil3D PO frank and he was looking for contractor money on it after Juen , 2019. It may be time to check back on how things are going. I just thought some one like Paolo with a customer perspective will make it much easier for people to read :)

Amoursol commented 4 years ago

Agreed 100% @QilongTang! Paolo would be the best person to reach out to as he would know good candidates if he can't do it himself. Andrew Milford (New Civil PM) could also no doubt suggest.
