+1 This would definitely be very useful. If a custom node doesn't work or if someone wants to suggest additional functionality this would be really helpful. Come to think of it, it would be nice if we could submit a changed/updated version of a package to the author for review.
yep, just like the one I discovered now: Your Get Family Instance by Cat needs a transaction for the Revit doc node to run on recent builds ;-)
Hey guys,
The back end supports both commenting on packages and providing a repository link associated with a package. This allows users to comment directly on the package or submit issues/pull requests via github. There's also support for multiple owners for a package.
These are all a little ways off, but I'd like to let you know that we anticipated this kind of thing and it's on our radar.

Reply to this email directly or view it on GitHubhttps://github.com/DynamoDS/Dynamo/issues/1170#issuecomment-36235315 .
Interesting discussion of this workflow here: http://dynamobim.org/forums/topic/modifying-nodes-in-package-manager-and-re-publishing/
I support the wish for a forum for custom node developers. But is somebody looking at these messages?
Not sure how this could be set, github or forum, but I think it's really needed.
