Suggestion: More functional decorations #132

I want to see sofa variations, ideally that we can sit on. The cushions and chairs we can sit on are a great start but sofas would be excellent. A two seater would be a nice start. Perhaps armchairs too?

Indoor lamps that give out light. The new lampposts are beautiful for outside.

Decorative shelving would be interesting to see too - like a single shelf with maybe a couple of books, and some kind of pokedoll on it. Doll would have to be very tiny. Perhaps existing dolls could be used in the crafting recipe.

It being a singular shelf such as you’d attach to a wall would give more interesting placement possibilities. There could even be variants like a messy professors lap.

(I don’t know how to assign labels, sorry!)

Honestly (personal opinion) I think the mod main aim should be the Pokemon-related decorations, as for the Pokemart shelves shown in the latest sneakpeek: https://twitter.com/BetterDeltric/status/1390461223146299392

There are already tons of mods that add many decorative and functional blocks and could come in handy in your situation.

Pokémon related decorations like the snorlax and pokeball themed seating we have already? I am suggesting that we also get a Pokémon themed sofa in the future. I am not suggesting that the Gens team detours to making a full range of home decorations, nor am I suggesting something unrelated to pixelmon. We occasionally get new home furniture in the updates, I am requesting such an addition.

Suggesting I look to other mods isn’t helpful - this is a suggestion for the pixelmon generations modpack, which so far has many home/Pokémon themed items but lacks a sofa. We have kitchen themed items, we have two televisions, a switch, but no seating that objectively goes with that.

I posted this as a server owner who has collected feedback from many players over the past years. More decoration blocks and items have always been the most requested of us - but with a Pokémon theme.

hi there, we have a sofa model made just pending addition. Likely could be in this next update. We're fully on board with adding home decorations alongside our Pokemon ones to give players more home building options. image Its going to be a modular sofa so you can put it together how you wish and will be dyeable.
