Model rendering in the game is very flawed and causes terrible performance. Even with "Potato mode", there is no discernible difference. Even with one person and the default max spawns (40), the variety and close proximity of Pixelmon even on the surface causes incredible performance drops when looking at them. When not rendering them (looking at the sky), there is no problem.
