What is the bug?
Alpha status taking priority of IVs in eggs. Through a lot of testing of breeding two alpha parents of 4-5 max IVs to get an alpha egg
of high IVs, I've found that a vast majority of the time the eggs only have 3 max IVs like regular alphas do. I breed with destiny knot and either everstones or power items to try and get higher IVs passed down, but I am getting seemingly random IVs out of the eggs.
I've bred a lot of non alphas and they consistently produce 4-6iv eggs. But the alphas are like 90% of the time only getting 3 max in the eggs.
I'd like to be able to continue to get alpha eggs from breeding two alpha parents, however I think that the flag of "Alphas must have at least 3 max IVs" takes priority over "the egg must have these IVs from the parents" if that makes sense.
What are the steps to reproduce the bug?
Breed two alpha parents with 5-6 max IVs with destiny knot and check the IVs of the egg. Repeat multiple times. Compare with breeding non alpha parents the same way. The alpha eggs will have considerably worse ivs than the non alphas.
What version of Pixelmon and Forge are you on?
Pixelmon Generations Official 8.7.1 on the latest Technic installation.
