Implement Date Sorting Control for Transactions

Value Proposition

As a user I want to sort transactions by date In order to easily view my transactions chronologically.

A sort control is available to the user on the homepage.
The default sort order is descending (newest to oldest).
Users can toggle between ascending and descending order by interacting with the sort control.
The sort option should clearly indicate which order is currently selected.
The transactions list updates in real-time when the sorting order is changed.
The sorting functionality applies consistently even when other filters are applied.
Tasks
[ ] Create feature branch feature/transaction-sort.
[ ] Design and implement a SortControl component on the homepage.
[ ] Set the default sort order to descending (newest to oldest).
[ ] Implement functionality to toggle between ascending and descending order in the SortControl.
[ ] Clearly indicate the currently selected sorting order in the UI (e.g., arrow direction or label).
[ ] Write a sortTransactions function to reorder transactions based on the selected order.
[ ] Ensure the transaction list updates in real-time when the sort order changes.
[ ] Make sure the sorting works in combination with other filters (e.g., search or category filters).
