Running with the shell limits us to 8192 characters, and that's (too) easy to hit. Turning shell off by default gives us 32k chars (i.e. quadruple the current problems at ~200 mods, which may be enough for now) but this isn't optimal for a few reasons:
[ ] We need a better way to show progress than just the notifs because the deploy takes time
[ ] We need to ensure that we can get the necessary data out of any errors that may occur.
