...And of course Frontier went down for maintenance right when I got to testing this 🙄

Testing

This has been tested on Frontier as part of https://github.com/E3SM-Project/polaris/pull/177. MPAS-Ocean has been run successfully with the pr suite with both gnu and crayclang. Omega has been built and CTest has been run on 3 of the 4 compilers (gnu, crayclang and crayclanggpu). We are sorting out an issue with gnugpu at https://github.com/E3SM-Project/Omega/issues/52 that has likely been fixed but will require an update of the Omega submodule in Polaris.
