TD5 ECU data on a Raspberry Pi #1

Hello Xavier,

First of all, congratulatios for this projet.

I already did some tests on your code a while ago with an arduino, but I was having problems with the ECU connection. I could received some data, but after some seconds, the data freeze.

Now I see that you abandoned the arduino version and you’re working with python for a pc version, and I thought that this could also work in a Raspberry Pi.

It’s a pity that your project didn’t have the community’s support in order to turn all your effort into samething more usseful, as for an example, a small portable device to put on the TD5 to see the some data from the ECU.

Unfortunately I don't have enough knowledge, but I will see what can I do, with some web information, and some friends’ help, to try to put your project into a RPi with a LCD.

I am a python programmer with a lot of experience making rpi devices for commercial use. I would love to help with this project

would be great to get this code running on a RPI, will try getting this to work on a windows PC first
