Sometimes we look for/require datasets that can be used as practice datasets for courses, that is for training purposes only e.g. GWAS courses. This would have to be a primary use category not a limitation/restriction.
new term: label: training use def: This data use limitation indicates that use is allowed for training purposes. ex: Data can be used as practice datasets for courses, e.g. GWAS courses. position: child of data use limitation
Sarion adds that typically GRU encompasses training purposes. Jaime: this is more of a researcher type than a data limitations. They would need to apply through the normal process and GRU datasets would be approved. Especially if applicant is a trainee we'd want to ensure they understand restrictions on data use. Sarion: we would request a list of students who would want to access the data
Proposal is instead to add comments on GRU to clarify that this encompasses training. If there is a requirement for negating (training forbidden) we can add a term to that effect.
New term requested: training use.
