Review of respiratory or thoracic disease

• [x] bronchial disease (EFO:1002018)

  • Should follow the Mondo respiratory classification and be a child of lower respiratory tract disease only.
  • Should this be a child of thoracic disease? UBERON classification states "bronchus located_in some thoracic cavity" which is influencing the Mondo classification of "bronchial disease is_a thoracic disease".

• [ ] breast disease (EFO:0009483)

  • Should this be a child of thoracic disease? UBERON classification had breast as part_of chest which is part_of thoracic segment of trunk and "breast part_of thoracic mammary gland", which is where Mondo is getting the classification from. OT have requested this to be only a child of TA (reproductive system or breast disease).

• [ ] lung disease (EFO_0003818)

  • Mondo term is a child of thoracic disease and lower respiratory tract disease. This needs to be duplicated into EFO. Should not be a child of just respiratory system disease.

• [ ] thymus gland disease (MONDO_0003393)

• [ ] esophageal disease (EFO_0009544)

• [ ] syndromic diaphragmatic or thoracic malformation (MONDO_0015880)

  • This should be in cardiac disease TA - check with Paola.
