show the two options 1) ssh keys or 2) token authentication together and earlier
separate out the instructions for cloning both ecco-2024, ecco-v4-tutorials

probably could be closed at this time, but note for next year :

most people who struggled with the fork / clone / PR / merge reacted very positively when I showed them the MITgcm's contributing section instead of what we had in the book
so we might be better off just point to https://mitgcm.readthedocs.io/en/latest/contributing/contributing.html rather than creating a new one next time
