WiFi - handling authentication

currently testing on a 'vanilla' WPA2 network, but university network is wpa2 enterprise last year's group was not able to get raspberry pi on network options are:

• get a separate cert from ITS to connect - not likely to happen, but possible
• use own cert to connect - possible, but would not last post graduation
• use mydevices network - also possible, but resets every semester, and would not last post graduation
• use guest network and periodically re-auth with canned POST response - worst option. likely to get shut down as an option and likely would not last long in general

another option - use edge hardware provided by ITS, but that could run into power issues if not a microcontroller/SBC

currently: using own credentials mydevices not an option as it is not reachable from eduroam and cannot reach bingdev
