I think a lot of the poorly specified messages are due to Django not giving enough information, and probably not worth fixing in my opinion

@nex-pixel This is a super broad issue so it's not super helpful as far as things to act on.

Also, In general, is this worth doing? I actually think our error handling is pretty good in most scenarios. If there are any in particular you feel aren't good (and that are important) then maybe make a separate ticket and close this one
