Challenge 13 - Atmospheric Datasets Comparison (ADC) Toolbox Evolution

Improve and extend the functionality of the library.

Note: Challenge is funded by Copernicus. Only nationals from European Union (EU) Member States and countries associated with EU’s Space Programme (currently Iceland and Norway) are eligible to participate (see Terms and Conditions).

Challenge description

Why do we need a solution Atmospheric Datasets Comparison (ADC) Toolbox is a set of Python tools that allows users to compare atmospheric composition datasets from different sources. We would like to improve the toolbox by making it more user friendly and by including additional data sources.

What could be the solution Possible areas for improvements to the library:

We are inviting candidates to propose the specific topic that they would be interested to focus on and present how they would address the task.

Hi All, It seems an interesting initiative and I am keen to apply. I just had a few questions to clarify my application.

  1. Is the idea to choose one or all of the three 'possible areas' stated above i.e. User interface or additional data sources or Wekeo HDA API

  2. Does it have to be limited to jupyter widget i.e. does the presentation of a user interface have to be in jupyter notebooks could it be a spin up of a website or local server page from the python toolbox Hope the question are understandable
