Intel Quicksync is not avaible when you start MPC on a laptop and forcing Nvidia display adapter.

Describe the issue you're having:

LAV decoders cannot use intel quciksynce, when you choose to run media player 
classic on nvidia display adapter instant of Intel HD4000.

How can the issue be reproduced? Sample File?

I needed to change the file name in order to get it run only on nvidia, because 
the drivers forcing it to run on the Intel HD4000 instant of nvidia.

What version of the product are you using? In which Player?
The problem is on all versions, I notices it long time ago also

The problem is if you using a laptop with Intel HD and nvidia video adapter.

If you force NVIDIA, obviously the Intel decoder is not available. I hope this 
doesn't surprise you!

Ok, but why do you think it's obviously?
Intel Quick synce is something also stand alone than Nvidia CUDA

If you can Nvidia CUDA selected if you force or not.

Why should that not work with intel quick synce?

I don't think you thinking beyond that point

Point is, the LAV decoder does not detect the Intel quick synce hardware future 
not, however I'm sure this could be fix if the detection metode would be 
different.
