samba error if no .avu in root of share #113

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. when using smb shares if there is not a .avi in the root of the samba
share in question you get a samba error.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

you should see directories or connect to an empty share instead you get an
error.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

I'm using  Mplayer CE 0.3a issue happens in 3.2e and in 3.4e.

Please provide any additional information below.

Wrong, doesn't matter if you don't have any audio/video files in the actual 
shared 
folder, as long as you have a valid share, with other directories in it, it 
will 
"show" the various folders.
