-yes they're usb 2.0 1gb memory sticks (they works fine under v0.3a)
-i can't install usb2cios: i'm trying to fix this i got a bad installation
response
from the code on the black installation screen
-yes i have plugged them before, after and meanwhile...same issues.
-while streaming avi files via SMB, image freeze and wii need to be manually
powered
off.

i'm experiencing a problem that may or may not be related. v0.4 shows all my
files,
but won't play some. so far, my issue involves exclusively divx encoded avi
files.
all other formats i've tried play ok; have yet to try a dvd.

just a note: the very first time i got Mplayer on my wii, i watched two
episodes
of "criminal minds" via usb without experiencing any kind of issues. more than
two
hours straight, pausing, skipping and restarting my avi files. everything
worked
great. it was the very first time i tested my wii as a playback device and it
was
the only one it worked straight.
i was so surprised that i was going to put my xbmc in my closet ;)
