Another SMB playback crash #167

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start a video from SMB source
2. Video always crashes at the same point, after about 30 minutes
3. It pops up an exception (see picture, I hope it's readable, else I will
be able to reproduce a better one I think)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
An exception screen pops up, giving a stack and code dump

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Mplayer-CE 0.4, < 4.0 (where can i find that?),

More info, what OS you using, what type file, to be honest that doesn't matter,
your'e obviously getting a broken connection during transfer, and the cache is
lost,
causing a crash, the next release will stop this and try to re cache, otherwise
if
error will return into menu.

I'm updating to System Menu 4.0 right now, I'll keep you updated.

The video was encoded by Xvid. I do not believe it has something to do with a
broken
connection however. I've tried to start the video at the point where it crashed
3
times. Each time, it crashed at the exact same point.

I've updated my OS to v4.0 now.

As it turned out, the error I experienced was not the only occurrence. I've
watched a number of other video's (all Xvid) and some of them happen to crash at
exact points during playback. I haven't made any other picture about these other
error occurrences, but I'm happy to do so, if required.

Best regards!
