Loading hangs when USB device boots up. #169

I am having an issue loading mplayer when I have an External WesternDigital
500GB drive hooked up to it, The drive is used for the WBFS - USB Loader
app so the partitions are not readable, that I know of, by this app.

If I unplug the drive it works fine, but will not load when it is plugged in.

A quick fix might be to allow a user to specify if usb is to be used or
not, this would work for me as I never use the usb slot in mplayer. Perhaps
a line in mplayer.conf that would stop it from trying to read a usb drive.

you need the fat partition first.

I have the same problem, would it be possible to read the second partition and
not
the first?

I don't really know about that yet.

@dj well that might be a fix if i had a FAT partition on the drive =)

all I have is a single WBFS partition, but on a lighter note I fdisk'd the drive
again and reset it up and all is fine now even with just the one WBFS partition.

Thanks
