Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install Waninkoko custom wii firmware 4.0
2. Re-Install IOS60 with trucha bug,then install both IOS 202 e 222 for
usb2.0 and reinstall DVDX using advanced install IOS 202 as written in the
readme.
3. updated to v 0.4

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

SMB doesn't works anymore

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

as written above custom firmare 4.0 by waninkoko, all cIOSes with trucha
bug restored (applied IOS downgrader aswell), usb2.0 and dvdx advanced install

Please provide any additional information below.

SMB doesn't works anymore here, it was working perfectly in 0.3 with
Firmware 3.3e and without USB2.0 support, now it seems it doesn't even try
to search for samba shares, also when i open the app it's very slow the
first 20 seconds, is there any bug related with usb2.0 and/or firmware 4.0?
i really don't care about USB 2.0 but i care about samba so if i have to
remove or downgrade something let me know thanks

Update: Ok i have uninstalled and reinstalled DVDX with normal install to get
rid of
usb2.0 support, now it doesn't go slow at startup anymore, but i don't still get
samba to work, i have obviusly double checked things in smb.conf
any idea ?
incompatible with firm. 4.0 ?

Update2: I've putted also version 0.3a (widescreen, both widescreen), smb
doesn't
works aswell in this version, it was working in 3.3e before system update so
probably
there's something incompatible.. damnit, i've broken the only decent wii media
player, are you planning to release a compatible version ?

SMB Hasn't broke at all, you've obviously overwritten your configs or
something,
double check your configs.
