Subtitles/OSD bug upon playback stop #190

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Play a file with subtitles (soft coded)
2. Pause playback when subs are on screen and select Stop in the main OSD menu
3. Play another movie file without subs

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the screen to be cleared of the subtitles currently on screen and
the OSD to remain properly functional. Instead the subtitles remain on
screen from the previous file, now offset to the right of the screen, and
the OSD is also offset to the right during playback (visible when trying to
use seek feature, the bar will wrap around the screen). When the video is
paused however, the stuck subs/OSD will move back to the center, and upon
playback be returned offset to the right.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using MPlayerCE V0.5 on an unmodded wii. I am using a CRT 4:3 display.
The video file I used with subtitles was in a mkv container with dual audio
and soft subs and the video I played afterward was a regular avi file using
xvid.

Please provide any additional information below.
All info I can think of is above, leave a reply if you need more info. Thanks.

This issue has mostly been fixed in 0.61 except for the subtitles remaining on
the
screen once the video has been stopped from the Stop function in menu.
