Hi,
Mplayer ce only detects the first partition on the hard drive. And since
Mplayer
only sees FAT32 format, It won't be able to load neither file systems on you
hard
drive.
What could you do:
1. Change the order of the partitions. FAT32 first, NTFS Second. You may find
some
guids on the internet (google).
Hints:
1. Most homebrew only detect the FAT32 on the first partition anyway, so if you
do
this, you will have no other problem in the future.
=D

Yes make sure, FAT32 is the first partition and set as primary.

I have my first partition as fat32, and usually load mplayerce via forwarder,
so the
loading time is longer and my hdd enters in a "hibernate" state, then, when
trying to
load from it the loader no longer recognizes it.
Is there any chance to put a reload button/function, before it tries to access
the files?

HDD Maxtor 500gb (1. 200gb fat32, 2.200gb WBFS, 3. 100gb NTFS)

Is there any chance of implementing accessing the FAT32 partition as a logical
partition?

Is it possible to implement accessing a Fat32 that is second/third partition
which
is set as primary?

maybe its posible that mplayer ce detect all partions on a hard disk (like
geexbox),
not only the primary partion.

usb-testtool. HDD is WD 300GB (1. WBFS, 2. FAT32).

doesn't work for me with mplayer ce 0.71 either. Only change to 0.7 is, that
now an
error Message is displayed with "USB device is not mountet".
