Multi-channel audio only outputting Font-L Front-R when on a stero speaker TV #224

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Playing an MKV with more than stero sound (in this case, 6 chan)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I'd expect that on a TV with just stereo speakers that the other 4 channels
would be audible. However, what happens is you just get front left and
front right, nothing else.

What version of the product are you using?

0.6

Please provide any additional information below.

Multi channel audio in all tests I tried do the same thing.
There have also been some sync issues but not sure if thats related to the
same issue.

Does the balance option in Options>Audio not help with this at all?

No, its not a balance issue. There are six channels of audio, I would assume
Front
Left/Right, Rear Left/Right, Center and Bass. I'm only getting one or two of the
channels through stereo speakers, and whichever ones I am getting they don't
contain
much of the speaking - more the music and background sounds. Normally a system
would
combine the channels and put them into stereo left/right so you don't miss
anything.
