Is that possible to take the date format configured in my admin (for posts)
? (french format)

Default date format is "F jS, Y" (see 
http://ua.php.net/manual/en/function.date.php)
In French localization usinf "j F Y".
Please send to me right format.

with the french localization on my website, i've got this date : "octobre 9th, 
2009".
Look at http://nicolas.loeuillet.org/ 

i think you maybe put "F jS, Y" and not "j F Y" for french localization. 

why don't use the format specified in wordpress admin?
