CDN working with header and background images (slow server issue)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Activate CDN (amazon cloudfront)
2. Serve images from CDN
3. All other images served from CDN but background and header image

Hello. The theme itself if wonderful with the ability to customize just about 
everything. I have an issue with performance though. My hosting is not the 
fastest, especially when serving content to Europe. Therefore I am using 
cloudfront to bring content "closer to my audience". Cloudfront seems to serve 
everything else nicely but the background and header images. That is related 
somehow to the way Constructor uses these images (they are loaded directly 
through the Customize menu and not from media libary like the rest of the 
images). 

I am using WP Super Cache (used to have w3tc but it broke the theme header 
positioning with Cloudfront for some reason, but that is a seperate issue). 

Is there a way to serve also these background and header images from 
Cloudfront?

The type of this issue is incorrect as I did not notice this defect/enhancement 
category when posting. This is an enhancement type question.
