Customize admin panel crashes

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Attempting to load the Appearance/Customize admin panel
2.This happens intermittently - sometimes it loads as normal, sometimes it
doesn't
3.

What version of the ... are you using?
1. Wordpress:2.9.2
2. Constructor:Sunrise
3. Browser:Firefox 3.5.5 and IE 7
4. OS:XP

Please provide any additional information below.
When i try to enter the Customize admin panel it takes forever to load (see
image) and many times ends up crashing my browser. 
Unfortunately I am working with an unreliable internet connection - the
speed can vary a lot. I'm not sure if this has something to do with it or
if it how the files are named and loading? I installed the theme via
hostgator/wordpress. I really like this theme, thanks so much for creating it!

I can't reproduce this is issue on my environment...

I think it's trouble with javascript loading.
