File is unable to be opened, despite closing all programs opened said file #142

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Look for something to patch
2. patch it
3. get error

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Epected output is a patch file being generated. I see "xdelta3: file open 
failed: read: C:\Users\fgg\patch\new_file: T"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
3.0.2 on Windows 7 x64

Please provide any additional information below.
xdelta3.exe -e -9  -B 67108864 -W 8388608 -P 256000 -vfs 
"C:\Users\fgg\patch\old_file" "C:\Users\fgg\patch\new_file" 
"C:\Users\fgg\patch\patch_file"

I think this is fixed in 3.0.4, see
