EDDI - Speech stopped working

Steps to reproduce

[give the fullest and most reproducible steps you can] i was messing around with speech trying to get EDDI a better voice, once i picked one out, the voice portion of EDDI stopped working .
[the more reproducible, the better our chances of fixing it] As a result Windows 10 informs me of an error but does not tell what error but that it has to reboot the systemn

Expected

[describe what you expected to happen] wanted to hear the new voice in EDDI

Observed

[describe what happened instead] No Voice at all

Investigation

[any investigation you have done, regression tests against earlier versions, etc] Rebooted. Refrag, nothing has worked to restore speech to EDDI

Sounds like EDDI may not know what to do with this new voice. What voice is it? If you revert to your old voice does that one still work? If you disable phonetic speech does it work? Please provide a copy of your log for review?

Old voice, new voice, disabled phonetic speech, nothing works. On the plus side all of my plugins have not been rejected. Hope u can help me and many thanks in advance for your assistance eddi_issue.zip

Update: One thing I have noticed is that when i attempt to test the voice on EDDI my hard drive ramps up, then after a few mins i get a windows message stating that something went wrong and windows 10 has to reboot. I am not sure that the issue is with EDDI. Hope this helps.

Ok my PC re-booted again but not b4 i captured the error. Windows Reads error: "Page fault in non page area."

The log has no data on this error. After you enabled verbose logging, please try to test your voice then click to 'Report an Issue'. That should give us the best chance of capturing something with the log.

EDDI seems to be having trouble locating and accessing your configuration files.

Have you tried a re-install? Are there any other programs that could be preventing EDDI from accessing speech services?
