If you set your in-game callsign mode to something other than the default "Manufacturer + Commander Name", EDDI's ShipCallsign function doesn't match. There is an override parameter when calling the function, but if you use that and then later change your setting, you have to manually update every instance of ShipCallsign in your scripts.
What I'd like to happen
It would be convenient to have a global setting to choose the default mode for ShipCallsign, or to have it read the value from the game settings file if that's possible.
How it can happen
A selector in the Commander Details seems tidy, as that's where the other profile preferences are.
