Feed Burner maybe not sending emails? #57

Feedburner is sending a daily digest email. It looks like the only option is a daily digest per http://support.google.com/feedburner/answer/78982?hl=en& For news publishing, a daily digest is not the best choice. Suggest replacing feedburner email subscription with another service that has subscription options; likely that service would manage an RSS subscriptons also.

agreed- digest is not the way to go.

The issue here is the inherent difference between RSS and email subscription. FeedBurner doesn't manage anyone's RSS subscription, or "send out" the posts. That's not how RSS works. Individual's manage their own subscriptions, and fetch news directly from the feed whenever they want to. FeedBurner (and other similar tools) just provide a cleaned-up version of the feed, add tracking code and other stuff to the mark-up, and track things like what IP addresses are making requests.

I'm going to look into MailChimp's RSS-connection feature. I'd like to switch over to them in place of VR anyway, and it would be better to have everything in one place.

Let me know if you find any other services that look promising.
