Vista Genomics missing in Station Search #507

Vista Genomics is no longer selectable as a facility in Station Search, likewise stations/carriers offering Vista Genomics no longer display it.

How to replicate: go to https://www.edsm.net/en/search/stations and try to find a place with Vista Genomics

"no longer" suggests that EDSM displayed this at some point in the past, when from what I can tell it never has displayed or included in the API services for which there is no mapping in https://github.com/EDSM-NET/Alias/blob/5461a6ef22597ceb238cc28cbf161b26d1c5b77e/Station/Service.php#L15-L37.

If you look at the exact file you linked, in $alias, it includes Vista Genomics. I used it before Update 16 to identify carriers out in the black to sell Genomics data, unfortunately I didn't know I should have screenshot it to prove that it existed.

Edit: Is it possible the alias sent from E:D changed with update 16?

That vistagenomics symbol definitely still does come through EDDN - e.g. https://edgalaxydata.space/eddn-lookup/extract.php?filename=Journal.Docked-2023-08-11.jsonl.bz2&lineno=5238

Checking the wayback engine, it wasn't in the dropdown in May: https://web.archive.org/web/20230519231805/https://www.edsm.net/en/search/stations, and the list of options there matches the list of options in that $name map.

Are you sure you're not thinking of e.g. https://inara.cz/elite/nearest-stations/?formbrief=1&ps1=Beagle+Point&pa1%5B%5D=38 or https://www.spansh.co.uk/stations/search/20A990EA-38EC-11EE-9AEC-761877549FEC/1
