Screen flickers while watching 1080p60 online video streams #60

When I'm watching 1080p60 YouTube videos or Twitch streams in full screen, my screen ends up flickering and glitching up until the screen dies out (occurs instantly or some seconds later).

On latest master OC 0b69c14 w/ my own CPUFriendDataProvider T480 w/ i5-8350U Stock 1080p panel

So it happens even on YogaSMC branch?

I do not have much time lately, but will look into it in following days

I had the same problem with Full HD resolution. Change your display to scaled 1400x900, the issue will go away but it looks blurry. Please use one key hidpi, option 1 (Enable HIDPI)->Macbook Air->1920x1080 (1424x802)

If you have an issue with display scaling after sleep, please change your config AAPL, ig-platform to BAAnWQ== (thanks to @tylernguyen at https://github.com/tylernguyen/x1c6-hackintosh)

@EETagent can you update the support for One Key HIDPI?

Yes, even on YogaSMC branch 😞

@muskit @EETagent Solved the problem!

Basically opencore guide recommends AAPL,ig-platform-id to 0x0000C087 for Amber lake's UHD 617 and Kaby lake R's UHD620.

Haven't had any issue since.

More info: https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Install-Guide/config-laptop.plist/kaby-lake.html#deviceproperties

Might have to reopen this. Updated all the required kext to the latest version and the issue came back.
