Hi, we have now switched to https://github.com/eff.org/privacybadger as the codebase for both firefox and chrome as of the next version of privacy badger. If you are still having this issue as of the next update please re post your issue there.
I picked something up a few years ago- can't remember where - that Amazon has a donation program called Amazon Smile (program details). If you use http://smile.amazon.com instead of the normal site you can set a charity (EFF of course!) to receive a little donation for every Amazon purchase made through that url.
I figure the add-on might be a clever way to inform about a unique program. Currently it says approx. $114k has been donated to EFF.
Just throwing it out there.
